Don’t get me wrong, it’s not THAT great. A step in the right direction; controls are pretty bad though. It also takes an absurd amount of subtle cues from Super Mario Galaxy, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Probably the best Sonic game since the Dreamcast ones (which may or may not have only been good because I was a stupid child).
